First Look at Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander
The February 2011 issue of W Magazine boasts an impressive cover girl: none other than Rooney Mara, in our first official glimpse of her in character as Lisbeth Salander. MTV.com reports on the W article and its accompanying photo spread, which also includes a picture of Rooney-as-Lisbeth getting a tattoo. Dragon-shaped, one would imagine.
The release of David Fincher’s adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is currently slated for December 21, 2011. In the meantime, fans can take home Noomi Rapace’s Swedish-language incarnation of Lisbeth: Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played With Fire are both currently available on DVD, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest will be available on January 25th, 2011.
