Big Week for Insectopedia!

Today’s New York Times features a profile of Hugh Raffles, author of the “miraculous” (New York Times, Science Times) Insectopedia, as he takes a “bug safari” in Central Park with the Times’s Ralph Blumenthal.

The 4/12 issue of People magazine is now on stands, and features a Q&A with Raffles, in which he describes the differences (and staggering similarities) between insects and humans. Tune in to Raffles’s interview on NPR’s Science Friday today at 3 pm EST! As Janet Maslin says in her New York Times review, Insectopedia “qualifies as food for thought.”
