Peter Carey and Tom McCarthy on Booker Prize Short List

When I posted in July that Peter Carey and Tom McCarthy both had novels on the 2010 Man Booker Prize long list, I didn’t think I’d be back to tell you that both authors have now made the short list, consisting of six finalists! We could not be more thrilled here at Knopf headquarters and urge you to read both novels.

The winner of the Booker Prize will be announced in London on October 12th. Wishing our authors the best of luck.
