Join Alice Munro and Margaret Atwood Tonight at Symphony Space

Symphony Space’s “Selected Shorts” program will celebrate Alice Munro’s work and her Nobel Prize in a live event on Wednesday, January 22. Alice Munro will be beamed in live from Victoria, Canada to the event via a Google+ Hangout On Air which will also be available to viewers around the world. And in a last-minute change due to weather, Margaret Atwood will also speak live via a Google+ Hangout On Air about Munro’s work. Holly Hunter and Amy Ryan will read two of Munro’s stories. The program is recorded for later public radio (NPR and PRI) broadcast and podcast and is heard by over a million listeners. The New York Times announced the event on Monday.
