Evie Wyld Shortlisted for Orange Award

Congratulations to Pantheon author Evie Wyld, whose “haunting and brilliant” (San Francisco Chronicle, recommended reading) debut novel After the Fire, A Still Small Voice is one of three novels on the shortlist for the Orange Award for New Writers. The winner will be announced on April 20.

About the book:
After the Fire, A Still Small Voice is set in the haunting landscape of eastern Australia and traces the ineffable ties of family, the wars fought by fathers and sons, and what goes unsaid.

About the author:EVIE WYLD grew up in Australia and London, where she currently lives. She received an MA in Creative and Life Writing at Goldsmiths, University of London, and was featured as one of Granta’s New Voices in May 2008.
