Last week, James Ellroy spoke at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, MN at the behest of Minnesota Public Radio. Our friends at MPR vouched for the audience’s reaction: they were thrilled, and those in the audience who had never heard of Ellroy left the theater enthusiastic new converts.
