Edwidge Danticat was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She is the author of Brother, I’m Dying; Breath, Eyes, Memory; Krik? Krak!; The Dew Breaker; and her newest book Love, Anger, Madness. She lives in Miami with her husband and two daughters.
Her autobiography Brother, I’m Dying is a winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award for AutoBiography.
