Asterios Polyp Wins LA Times' First Graphic Novel Award

The LA Times just announced the winners of its 2009 Book Awards, and David Mazzucchelli received the inaugural award for a graphic novel for his “dazzling” (New York Times Book Review) Asterios Polyp.
