The book isn’t out until November, but Must You Go? already has The Daily Beast Editor-in-Chief Tina Brown buzzing. British biographer Antonia Fraser’s memoir centers on her 33-year love affair with (and eventual marriage to) the celebrated playwright Harold Pinter. Brown told NPR, “It’s enormously enjoyable to read about because this is a book that’s intimate without being confessional, and that’s a very unusual thing today. At the end of it you feel you’ve had an insight into a great romance that has real passion. She’s really pulled off something of enormous subtlety.” Listen to the full interview here (begins at 3:35).
Fraser will be promoting her book in the US in November. Click here for a list of events.
