An Evening with Christopher McDougall in NYC

In celebration of the New York City Marathon, Christopher McDougall, author of the New York Times best seller Born to Run, will be hosting an evening of barefoot running. The line-up is impressive, to say the least. You can expect:

– A greeting by Peter Sarsgaard, master of ceremonies and star of An Education, Kinsey, and Garden State

– A panel on barefoot running, featuring Dr. Daniel Lieberman, Harvard’s Barefoot Professor; Barefoot Ted McDonald, the barefoot ultrarunner; John Durant, urban hunter-gatherer; and Eric Orton, the innovative coach whose training methods made Born to Run possible.

– A feature presentation from Christopher McDougall

– A reading from Born to Run, selected and performed by Peter Sarsgaard

It’s all going down at the New York Society for Ethical Culture this Friday, November 5th. Click here to buy tickets for $10 or pick them up in person at Paragon Sports (867 Broadway at 18th Street).

Bonus: Anyone who purchases a ticket to the event is automatically entered to win a VIP experience: Front row seats, Vibram FiveFingers, a signed copy of Born To Run, and Saturday morning run with Chris McDougall and Barefoot Ted to complete the experience.

Many thanks to our retail partners, Vibram FiveFingers and Paragon Sports, for hosting this exciting event!
