New Contest: Be Like Julie, Cook From Julia

I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that with the upcoming release of Julie & Julia, the world’s caught an acute case of Julia-mania. The cure? A recipe from Mastering the Art of French Cooking!

Take a page out of Julie Powell’s book and throw your own Julia Child–inspired dinner party, with recipes straight out of Julia Child’s iconic cookbook. Blog about your dinner or add pictures of your dishes, menus—even your sauce-covered kitchen!—to our Flickr pool and be entered to win Julia Child’s entire oeuvre. This includes Mastering the Art of French Cooking, My Life in France, Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home, The Way to Cook, and Julia’s Kitchen Wisdom. Williams-Sonoma is even throwing in a Le Creuset French oven, like the featured in Julie & Julia, and Bon Appétit will supply a one-year gift subscription and autographed copies of the 50th Anniversary Bon Appetit Cookbook and The Bon Appétit Fast Easy Fresh Cookbook. In short: these prizes will transform your kitchen into a culinary paradise.

Bon appetit!

NOTE: Thanks, everyone, for your wonderful, inspiring entries! I’m still going through all the blog posts and Flickr uploads and am hereby publicly committing to announcing a winner on Monday, August 24th. I appreciate your patience while I drool over pictures of everyone’s Julia Child dishes.
