Pico Iyer on the Joy of Less

Earlier this week, Vintage author Pico Iyer discussed living a life with less in an op-ed that ran in The New York Times. “The constitution of Japan,” he wrote, “refreshingly, says nothing about the pursuit of happiness, as if to suggest that happiness, like peace or passion, comes most when it isn’t pursued.”
